As the tour is not tied to any dates, you have the opportunity to plan the dates that suit you best. It is advisable to do this outside of the weekends. The roads are less busy and you can fully enjoy the beautiful areas you drive through. On the way, there is plenty of opportunity to stop and visit a place of interest or just to take a walk. You can also regularly leave the route to visit a town or village and then pick the route up again.

The tour is laid out in such a way that there are plenty of places to stay. The numerous (often situated along fast-flowing rivers) campsites, hotels or the cosy but affordable guest houses, offer you a good place to spend the night.

When you buy this trip, you will receive two routes. These two routes form a tour where you ride through the 5 countries. The route is a total of just over 750km. You choose which towns on the route you want to stay overnight and whether you ride the entire route in 3 or 4 days.

The route starts in the Netherlands at Maastricht. You will drive through beautiful country roads to the three countries' point at the Vaalserberg. After this, you continue to Aachen and Verviers to the Parc National des Hautes Fagnes. This is where the real driving starts, in the Eifel, a very well-known area for motorcyclists. After the Eifel, you ride into Luxembourg, passing lakes, land borders, mountains, lots of forests and valleys. Then you descend into Germany where you ride alternately in Luxembourg. Then you steer yourself a little further into Germany towards Morbach, passing various wooded areas and beautiful landscapes, typical of the Moselle. 

From the Moselle, you ride all day in Germany back to the Eifel. The route first descends through some nice hairpin bends to the Moselle river. You keep crossing this river regularly. The route is varied through the mountains with fun steering. You leave the mountains and the roads become more and more curved. After the Eifel National Park, you drive to Aachen where the route stops and you drive back home.
