Dolomites Trentino: a Motorbike paradise at its Best! Conquering unknown mountain passes in an ultimate environment.
This wonderful trip takes place from a beautiful luxury hotel in Trento. From here you will ride routes that show both the beautiful and much less touristy side of Lake Garda and some of the famous Dolomite passes such as Passo Compolonga, Passo Nigre and Passo Pellegrino. Riding in this area is truly enjoyable! Dinner is not included. The hotel is located in the centre of Trento, where there are plenty of nice restaurants. So you can decide each evening where to dine and enjoy Italian cuisine in the evenings.
The outward journey (first day) and return journey (last day) you will drive on your own initiative.
Day route 1: Parco Naturale Paneveggio – Pale di San Martino | 257 / 296 km
The first day route goes to Parco Naturale Paneveggio - Pale di San Martino with many famous Dolomite passes that you will ride today. You have the choice between a short and long route. You start after about an hour's ride with Passo Lavazé which is 1808 metres high and has a gradient of no less than 18%. Here it is clearly visible that the 2018 severe weather has left its mark, something you are sure to encounter more often throughout the rest of the week. In total, more than 14 million were blown down in the Dolomites in the November 2018 storm. You will also ride the following passes today, Passo Niger - 1690 metres, Passo Karer - 1745 metres, Passo Valles - 2032 metres, Passo Rolle 1989 metres, Passo Brocon 1616 metres and Passo Forcella of 875 metres. After all these passes, you return tired but satisfied to the hotel where the pool is already waiting for you for a nice cooling dip.
Day route 2: Cima Brenta | 280 / 317 km
After a hearty breakfast, you will leave for a tour of the beautiful area of Cima Tosa and Cima Brenta today. An area with countless apples and grapes that you drive through regularly. Today you will visit Lago di Tovel, a cul-de-sac to a beautiful mountain lake (toll road) of 11 kilometres out and 11 kilometres back. A stop you won't forget soon in the middle of this nature reserve. After this, the curves follow each other rapidly over several unknown passes such as Passo Campo Carlo Magno of 1682 metres. At the top of this mountain pass you have stunning views of several bare mountain massifs that the Dolomites are so famous for. You ride back to the hotel over several beautiful S-roads.
Day route 3: Monte Baldo | 278 / 361 km
Today you will drive a route towards Lake Garda but have no fear, you will not drive a standard circle around the always very busy Lake Garda. Our route brings you to the beautiful mountain pass that runs parallel to Lake Garda where you will only come face to face with the so famous lake at one moment. If you don't stop here then you completely miss this largest lake in Italy. Absolutely no big deal as the route is fantastic and you drive between 500 and 1000 metres altitude all day.
Day route 4 | South-East | 198 / 284 km
Get ready for a beautiful, unknown narrow mountain passes today towards Bassano del Grappa. Also, on this day you can choose between long and short routes that will show you the most beautiful roads of this area. If you were to count the number of curvesyou are going to ride today, you would definitely lose count, as there are so many of them! Besides, some mountain villages such as Arsiero and Valstagna and named mountain passes such as Passo Sommo of 1341 metres and Passo Borcola of 1250 metres, you will pass through a very special village called Zoreri. Here you will find dressed up dolls all around hthe village. A very special sight. The last part of the route you can already see Lake Caldenazzo and that's how you know you're almost back at the hotel.
Day route 5: Lake Garda | 277 / 348 km
On the last day you will drive towards Lake Garda. Long and short versions are also available for this route. The first part of this route you will drive through some villages and pass Lake Caldonazzo, which attracts a lot of tourists every year. Once you have passed this beautiful lake you will drive towards Trento and Lago di Cei, a small mountain lake at over 900m altitude with beautiful flora and fauna. A nice area for the peace and quiet seeker who finds Lake Caldonazzo too crowded. A beautiful road towards Lake Garda now follows through the Parco del Alto Garda Bresciano. After a few kilometres, you arrive at the top at an altitude of about 550m with stunning views of Lake Garda. You now drive down again on a nice road to arrive in Limone sul Garda, which has a friendly atmosphere and is certainly one of the most beautiful villages on Lake Garda. It's nice to have lunch by the water here. You continue the route again and leave Lake Garda behind you to drive back toward the hotel.
