The outward journey (first day) and return journey (last day) you will drive on your own initiative.

    Day route 01: Sienna | 181 / 258 km

The hotel where you will be staying for the next few days is near the medieval town of San Gimignano. This is the best preserved medieval town in Italy. It is known for its towers. Once, there were 72 of them; now only 14 are still intact. After an extensive Italian breakfast with freshly baked bread, all kinds of fresh cakes and other delicious sweets, you can choose between a short or long route. Both routes will take you to the beautiful city of Sienna, which is definitely worth a visit. The route starts with a beautiful winding road towards the green landscape of Tuscany, on the way you pass several sunflower fields, large wine estates, cypresses and olive groves, this is really typical Tuscany! After visiting Sienna, you drive uphill again on a narrow road and you have a beautiful view over this beautiful medieval city. You now return to the hotel where you will be treated again on the way to beautiful roads with typical Tuscan views.

    Day route 02: Round trip Tuscany | 177 / 253 km

The route starts immediately with a beautiful road with beautiful views. You drive towards the town Volterra, this town lies on a hill, if you have enough time it is a must to take a look at the medieval Roman Theatre or Palazzo dei Priori, one of the oldest town houses of Italy, the building stands in the middle of the city. You continue the route towards Montecerboli, one of the smallest villages where time has stood still. After this you drive about 20 km on good tarmac through the woods over several bridges, this road keeps on treating you to several nice curves, curves and more curves. After driving this intensive route, a delicious dinner is waiting for you!

    Day route 03: Tuscany - Umbria | 262 km

After breakfast, you will leave the hotel to drive to Umbria. First, you drive through the busier village of San Gimignano and then you are treated to the beautiful nature of Tuscany. You can already see the mountains on the horizon. A winding road takes you up into the countryside again. It is possible that you have to hit the brakes hard here because of crossing pigs. For a few kilometres, the road gets narrower and worse, but then you are treated again to typical Tuscan views of beautiful houses with long driveways, surrounded by fields and meadows that make it even more beautiful! The last part of the route treats you to lots of curves and drives towards the beautiful resort in Todi. The resort where you stay the next few days looks out over vineyards and olive trees and is situated in the middle of the hills of Todi. The resort has an outdoor pool, a spa, a vineyard and a good restaurant where you can dine and where they use products from the region. The owner also has a passion for motorbikes. It is really enjoyable here, in this hotel weddings are held regularly, once you have arrived there, you will know why!

    Day route 04: Round trip Umbria East | 199 / 284 km

The first route in Umbria passes through the Monti Sibillini National Park. This nature reserve treats you to spectacular views. You head almost immediately from the hotel into the woods on a smaller road with the first bit of worse road surface up to about 500m altitude. The road soon improves while the views and nature are very beautiful. It is also wonderfully quiet here. The route takes you further into the heart of Umbria on small roads. You wind yourself uphill with ease. You go even higher, you haven't been this high yet this week. And of course it's very beautiful here too! You enter the park Dei Monti Sibillini, a striking feature of the area is the unspoilt nature and the presence of the many limestone in the park. The villages you encounter in Monte Sibillini are isolated in the rugged mountain landscape also you pass nice villages with castles and medieval streets. Nice to stop in one of these villages, a must to taste one of their delicacies. The roads in the natural park are good and the overgrown mountains are impressive. This is Umbria par excellence! You leave the mountains again and follow the rolling road back to the hotel through quaint villages. Back at the hotel, you can take a swim in the pool or visit Todi. The medieval centre is perched on a hill and has winding alleys and open squares.

    Day route 05: Round trip Umbria South | 224 / 295 km

After a hearty Italian breakfast, you'll drive towards Lago di Corbara via a beautiful wide road. You follow a small river and again immediately enjoy the beautiful views in this rolling landscape. You continue the route through the olive area. Delicious olive oil is produced here. From above, you can see another large lake; Lago di Alviano. Then you drive a beautiful road towards Amelia, a typical authentic town. You continue on to surely the highlight of this day's route, the waterfalls of Cascata delle Marmore, a real attraction and also the highest waterfall in Europe. You can climb to the highest point of the falls in stages. Real adventurers can also go white-water rafting here.

    Day route 06: Pisa | 265 / 315 km

The last day's itinerary takes you to Pisa. The city with the leaning tower. If you choose the short route, you have plenty of time to visit Pisa or the even more beautiful Lucca. This city is full of old buildings and you can walk along the medieval city wall. Upon arrival at the hotel, you can of course take a taxi to the beach to completely unwind. The route from Umbria takes you along the main roads to the hotel in Pisa.

The long route picks up some more scenic roads along, for example, Lago di Bolsena. Nice steering roads through the still at first whimsical Umbria, but soon through the hills of Tuscany towards Pisa. This route lets you enjoy the ultimate for the last time. After the long drive, you can enjoy your well-earned rest at the sleek hotel. If you still have time to spare, pay a quick visit to the Tower of Pisa.
