One of the most beautiful regions of Germany. Relaxed driving through the ''Vulkan-Eifel''
Motorcyclists have a special connection with the Eifel and that is not surprising. The roads are beautiful with numerous bends, height differences and an excellent road surface. You would think that the roads have been built especially for us, because everything is possible! The roads are great, the landscape is 'fabelhaft': the beautiful rolling hills and the volcanic lakes that are often hidden from view are unique. You will stay in a fantastic motorcycle-friendly hotel. You can book this trip as a midweek or long weekend.
The hotel for this break is a the perfect example of German thoroughness. The owner himself is an enthusiastic motorcyclist. Every morning, a good breakfast is waiting for you, so that you can build a firm foundation for the new day. In the evening, you can join a 3-course dinner.
Please note: on tuesdays there will not be dinner available in this hotel. If your trip is on a tuesday, you will get a discount of € 20,- per person on your invoice.
The outward journey (first day) and return journey (last day) you will drive on your own initiative.
Day route 1: Ahr / Vulkan Eifel | 229 / 341 km
The route you are about to ride today will take you through the Ahr- and Vulkan Eifel. There is a short and long route available. With the long route you will see and experience even more of the Eifel and its curves. You can also visit the Nürburgring. In the beginning of the route you will pass the Burg Kreuzberg, which is still completely intact. It belongs to the von Boeseslager family, who are very fond of their privacy. You continue the route and enter Adenau. This place is known for the infamous Nordschleife of the Nürburgring. You will pass the Nordschleife again on your way back to the hotel, nice to have a look or to make a lap. Be aware that you will not be the only one and that there will be many inexperienced drivers and motorcyclists among the 'racers'.
Day route 2: Luxemburg | 225 / 314 / 364 km
Today you can choose between 3 different routes: a short route , long route and the XL route. All three routes take you from the west of the Eifel region to Luxembourg.
At the start of the route, you drive almost directly into Neuerburg. The townscape of Neuerburg is dominated by small houses and curved streets and is nice to drive through for a coffee stop. You continue the route to Gemund and cross the river Our, here you also pass the border with Luxembourg. Luxembourg is also full of beautiful winding roads. At Kautenbach you drive a road with a series of 8 sharp hairpin bends also called the "Mini Stelvio".
Day route 3: Schnee / Hohe Eifel | 233 / 292 km
You leave the hotel in the direction of Prüm. Then you drive onto the Vulkanische Eifelstrasse which treats you to no less than 18 km of beautiful wide bends along the water over excellent asphalt. Then you continue on the L73, a beautiful steering road with very good asphalt along high rocks. On the way back to the hotel, you pass Adenau again. If you haven't visited the Nürburgring yet, this is your chance to take a look.
This day route is only for the 5-day trip.
