However, I have some comments regarding the routes: 1- extra routes: several routes were mixed up with each other, the outward routes were in reality the return routes: very confusing. 2- Bourg-en-Bresse to the base hotel: a route of about 400 km with a calculated driving time of about 8 hours: this was not correct, the actual driving time was about 10 hours, add some stops and you are easily 12 hours or more. The reason is most likely that the software used sees some roads as 80km roads, while you should be happy if you get an average of 30km there, especially in a group. 3- Bourg-en-Bresse to the base hotel: The route went straight through the center of Grenoble, every 100 meters a traffic light at 35°C and also the fact that the route went through an environmental zone (Grenoble), while it was indicated beforehand that such environmental zones were not in the routes. Should I (and my 6 fellow riders in that group) get fined because of this problem we will recover these fines from Horizon. To simplify a bit, around Grenoble there is a large ring road without an environmental zone, goes much faster but possibly with a small amount for the peage. 4- Loop routes from the base hotel: nice routes that is, but there were two very bad roads in it, and that just before the end of the route on the way back. Leave these 2 bad roads out is my motto. 5- Recommendation: All in all I think it would be better for the designer of the routes to ride them himself in a group of average and experienced riders.
