Dams are richly represented, including the Rappbodesperre with the longest suspension bridge in the world where you can fly down on a cable and bungi-jump from the middle of the bridge. The Höhlen Erlebnis Zentrum is also well worth a visit. Grabbing a terrace in Sonderhausen overlooking the castle and visiting the castle. Also funny was the big engine near Bartolfelde which is placed at a former watchtower on the old border of West and East Germany. Allegedly, East German soldiers manned this tower. Refreshments and then dinner. The hotel was immaculate, the food fine, nice people and excellent care, nothing to complain about. Not even the weather, we didn't see any rain.
