Top!

Had a wonderful week in the Alps! Accommodation in Montclar where we stayed was absolutely top: friendly staff (owners are Belgian, in terms of conversation a lot easier than the French language) and the 3-course dinners we enjoyed in the evening were very good, as was breakfast. In terms of routes enough choice: long or short route and we have looked at what we really wanted to see and so we also kept an eye on the weather. So we sat on a terrace at 20 degrees, but also on the Bonette at 0 degrees through the snow at the top! (Not much later this pass was closed, so we were just lucky: beautiful experience! ) And in the evening we lit the fireplace in the hotel to warm up again. And in terms of steering with the bike: enjoyed! In short: great week!
