Wél I found it quite crowded in a number of places, but yes: the second week of August is of course in the middle of the vacation period. On the outward journey I had booked an extra night's stay at the hotel recommended by Horizon: again good food and drink and a good room. The return trip to the Netherlands I did on ééone day.
