With a total of 5 people we made this trip. In advance we received routes through the mail. Also a lot of information about the surroundings. Because we come from the middle of the country, we adjusted the provided route a bit, otherwise it is a very long route. We put in more highway, but that is our own choice. Hotel is very good. Air-conditioned rooms, good breakfast and dinner. Already also there is a set menu, on ééone night it was adjusted at our request and that was no problem. We both drove the short routes. That still takes all day, but then you have a little more time to eat and drink. The route through Alsace goes through many villages, so we got a little tired of it, especially at the end. But the scenery  is beautiful. The second day through Rheinland-Pfalz and that is with één word fantastic. Beautiful route with the highlight being road 48, you would want to drive all the way there. We slightly modified the return route for the same reason as the outward route. All in all a nice combo of environments, a good hotel and good organization.
