Beautiful scenery and routes, friendly group and good tour guide. The 3rd trip with Horizon, so already some experience. The expectations based on the text of the trip were high. The reality unfortunately less, except that the hotel was indeed key. No air conditioning or fan in the room which was unbearable at 35+C. This is really out of date (especially when you read in previous reviews that it was that hot more often than not). Church tower that keeps/makes you brutally awake until 0:00am and from 6:00am and lots of noise from the road. Food was reasonable, not terrible, but did not meet expectations. Location an hour drive from the Vosges Mountains does not make sense. This is not the best of 2 worlds. If I compare this trip with the previous 2, the price-quality ratio is not right here.
