As  "newcomers" to Horizon Motor Travel's travel offerings, this individual trip to the Teutoburgerwald was a pleasant surprise! We made the trip from June 26 to 30, 2017. If you want to gas over spectacular mountain passes or challenging mountain roads, you should indeed not be here, but for pleasant touring in a very beautiful and quiet hill country, full of forests and grain fields, you are here in the right region. The hotel "Gasthof Zum Freden" is definitely excellent, offers its guests a fine cuisine and nice rooms with very good beds. Drinking and chatting in the bar until late in the evening is no problem. Too far from the city center? Are you kidding; a mile and a half walk and you're in the middle of Bad Iburg. Definitely do, that walk, because the center and the castle of the town are worth. The tour routes provided by Horizon by GPS were - as always - very good and could be followed without problems. Were there no minus points to note? Well, okay, this one: your motorcycle has to be parked outside in the parking lot at night..
